About Me

Brad Brizendine-0887 copy.jpg

An Atlanta native, Brad attended the Lovett School before heading to UGA, where he studied finance and law, and walked on to the Men’s Basketball team. After seven years in Athens, Brad moved back to Atlanta and practiced law at an insurance defense firm before ultimately deciding to change careers and pursue a degree in counseling. While still working as an attorney, Brad attended Mercer University and graduated with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As part of his clinical training, Brad interned at Dekalb Medical Hospital where he assessed patients for admission to the hospital’s in-patient facility. Coming full circle, in 2018, Brad accepted a position back at Lovett to serve as a counselor in the high school. In addition to his primary role as counselor, Brad coached basketball, taught math, and assisted the Senior Chaplain. Brad still maintains a wide variety of interests but is most passionate about working with clients in their time of need. When not in the office, Brad enjoys reading, traveling, sports, and spending time with his family.
